Physiatry – Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Physiatry - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - is the specialty of medicine concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and management of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular diseases. Physiatrists are key physicians for patients suffering from chronic disabling physical disorders. Many such patients also suffer from chronic pain and thus require long-term pain management interventions. A Physiatrist may provide such complex care and / or the management of the multidisciplinary needs of such disabled and chronically suffering individuals.
Our services encompass the management of chronic disabling neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. Many of our patients suffer from chronic pain syndromes and we treat them for these as well. The treatment protocols provided by us are based on the application and use of medications – oral, topical and by infiltration – for the management of chronic pain, arthritic illnesses and complex nerve and muscle disorders.

weak arm...”
